Hello, My name is Gab and I put this together to help find places that help my mom get around. My mom had a double knee replacement and can walk but for very short distances (if it is flat). She can get around on her own at home but she will be joining me in Japan for a trip and will need a wheelchair to be able to enjoy the sights. I hope it is okay that I chose this website.

She will be coming to Okinawa (where I live currently) with my nephew. He is about to be 18 and traveling for the very first time. I want to find things we can all enjoy together.

I took her to Fukuoka last year, and we did our best with a wheelchair we rented from the hospital.

I’ve been to Osaka, Tokyo, and Kyoto as well and those places are so crowed or have so much walking that I’m a little stressed.

I would be happy to get any advice. Thank you in advance.
