I was wondering what the current restrictions are for mobility scooters for guests travelling to Japan and required to take public transit (local trains, bullet trains, buses, etc.).

Lived in Las Vegas for a while, although that was decades ago now, even back then it was easy to get around in a wheelchair and many attractions we very accessible (restaurants, shows, rides, fun themed areas/shops, etc.). I’ve been to Vegas and London.
The Vegas Strip is very accessible IF all the street elevators are working. If not, you have to zig-zag through the casinos to get anywhere. Getting a cab to/from the airport and Strip is very easy. Oof, that’s rough. I thought there we buses to the Orlando airport, maybe it was too late though. Definitely not an ideal situation.

LAX, BUR (Burbank, CA/Bob Hope Airport), and SNA (Orange County, CA/John Wayne Airport) all have sidewalks that leave the airport. Of course, this doesn’t mean drivers will always pay attention. I haven’t needed to use those sidewalks yet.
