There is a lift/hoist for airplanes called the Eagle lifter I think…
However, I have not heard of them in Japan. The staff will assist with lifting/transferring here though

Just saw this video clip on FB where a mini pink ramp moves up/down and fwd to provide a level transition from the train to platform.

I am just coming back from a travel on Tokyo and Osaka and I have never seen that system in the subway or local train, but anyway on the subway a lot of stations have a very short gap between the train and the platform and when it’s not you still can come back to the ticket counter and ask for a slope.
