A couple of weeks ago my family and I visited Gramado Zoo in Rio Grande do Sul. It is a fantastic place with plants and animals from all over Brazil. All of the animals there were either born in captivity or rescued. Despite being a little hilly, the zoo remained largely accessible for me as a manual wheelchair user. I would definitely recommend visiting this place and it is widely regarded as being one of the best zoo’s in all of Latin America!
