• Hello travelers, my name is Inaki and I live in the north of Spain (Basque Country Bilbao), I love to travel, I’m a wheelchair user (spinal cord injury), Spain is a country with a lot of places to visit, I have been lucky enough to travel and I know many places (the north is my specialty but do not hesitate to ask me).

        • Thank you very much, I hope I can help and of course you will help me in my future trips.

          • Welcome aboard Inaki, I traveled to Spain in my able days and would love to come back to your beautiful country when I have funds to do so (I’m looking for a new house so don’t have available funds this year (that’s me being my usual optimistic self😃)

            • Patty nice to meet you, I will try to help anyone, I have not visited Spain completely obviously but I can help you.

              • Hi, I am going to Barcelona and Madrid in a month. We have side trips to Toledo and Avilla and Seguria. While I have guides, I will be on my own a bit. I’m concerned about getting taxis at the Madrid train station and at the Barcelona airport. I have been unable to get a response when I try to reserve an accessible taxi. Do you have any tips? Aside from the typical tourist spots do you have any suggestions pf special things to see or do? I am traveling with my husband and use a wheelchair full time.

                • Hi Joy, Well the truth is I usually go in my car, let me a couple of days I’m going to talk to friends known to those cities and see if they can help me, a doubt, do you speak Spanish? or should be English.

                  • I’m back Joy I just made a couple of queries and they will tell me something in Barcelona, in Madrid I found this company that has Taxis adapted. I just talked to them, he tells me to write by Whatsapp or Telegram (webpag attached), as you write you will automatically answer a Root asking for information Name, Place, Time etc and after replying with the data they will send you a quote. He has told me that he prefers that you contact them by message (I guess because of the language). The truth is that I have no reference of anyone but it looks like they are professionals.
