Hello everyone, hoping I’ll be able to confirm Japanese hotels (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka) with pictures (preferably) of any rooms with a roll-in shower? With “Heartfelt Rooms”, but with little or no confirmation. Kind regards, Steve, Australia.

Booking wheelchair seat on Shinkansen bullet train
I was on the official Smart-ex website to book train seats. There will be 3 of us – me in a wheelchair plus 2 companions. Hi, my experience was that wheelchair seat cannot be booked online. There are only a few seats in train that are considered as wheelchair seats. If you can book wheelchair accessible seat online, please share the website. Many thanks.

You have to go through the system twice. Get the wheelchair seat first. Having done the trip several times you don’t get a lot of chances to see Fuji as it might be obscured by clouds and there’s a lot of noise barriers on the trackside not to mention tunnels which limit the view.
