About Us | Hi, I’m Sergio Aicardi — a mobility scooter user, adventure-seeker, and co-founder of Mobility Direct. I travel the world with my scooter and share my experiences to help others with limited mobility enjoy life to the fullest. Whether I’m rolling through the streets of Gatlinburg, checking out animals at the Naples Zoo, or exploring Disney World and Universal Studios with my family, I believe accessibility should never limit adventure. I’ve cruised the Western Caribbean with Royal Caribbean, explored both the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, and tested scooters on everything from theme park pavement to snowy mountain roads. Every trip teaches me something new about what it means to travel with mobility challenges — and I’m here to pass those lessons on to you.
When I’m not out exploring, I’m filming educational videos for the Mobility Direct YouTube channel, helping people find the right scooter, or spending time with my wife and daughter. I hope my stories inspire you to get out there, no matter how you roll. |

Offering | Buzzaround Carry-On TSA Approved Mobility Scooter |
Description | What makes this scooter unique (aside from the fact that it is only 12″ tall when folded and the fact that it has a 4″ ground clearance) is the fact that it can be rolled into the trunk of a car or SUV. With most mobility scooters, you are required to “dead-lift” the scooter (or parts of one) into the trunk of a car. Scooters usually weigh at least 50 lbs, and deadlifting that much weight is not possible for most of our customers. The GB-120 scooter can be folded, then stood up on the kick stand, then finally tilted and rolled into the trunk of a car. The GB120 mobility scooter also has a toggle switch for the automatic brakes. The toggle switch for the brakes makes it very easy to go from “free-wheel” mode to “drive mode”. |
