Do you know where my family and I can receive a full body medical checkup (blood test, physical exam including x-ray, echo, ultrasound, etc.) in the Yokohama or Tokyo area? I am in a wheelchair, but I can transfer to an examination table with a little assistance. Thank you for your help!

Ropeway and cable car accessibility in Kobe
Thanks. After checking the Ropeway’s website more thoroughly, they do explicitly say that they will stop in order to allow boarding. They also add that as many as 3 companions can go with the wheelchair user.
I was also able to confirm that the Rokko Arima Ropeway is wheelchair accessible. I plan to visit there as well.

Earlier on this year we travelled to Taiwan and we were surprised how wheelchair friendly this small country is. Dropped curbs, ramps, toilets for handicapped people everywhere free of charge and super clean, access to temples, museums, hotels, restaurants. Absolutely fabulous and not expected at all.

We were pleasantly surprised by how accessible Singapore is. All the buses had drivers who leapt out and put a ramp down, and the trains were all wheelchair accessible. We went to the top of the Marina Bay Hotel, and the view from the top was awesome. Hotels were very accommodating. I was certainly surprised at how accessible the whole island is
