tabifolk Community Guidelines

For All Users

tabifolk is a community built to support one another in exploring the world—no matter your ability or background. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and informative space for travelers with disabilities and those who support them.

Please keep these basic rules in mind:

  • Be kind and respectful. Everyone comes from different places and perspectives. Treat others with the same respect and empathy you’d want in return.
  • No hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks. We won’t tolerate bullying, harassment, or any form of harmful language.
  • Stay constructive. If you disagree, do so politely. If you can’t say something helpful or respectful, it’s better not to say anything at all.
  • Remember: you’re talking to real people. These aren’t just usernames—each member is a real person who deserves understanding and consideration.
  • Keep it relevant and helpful. tabifolk is about sharing advice, stories, and tips to help others explore the world more easily.

If someone reports behavior that goes against these guidelines, or we notice it ourselves, we reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts to keep the community safe and respectful.

For Providers & Companies

We welcome businesses, guides, and service providers to be part of tabifolk—but we ask you to join with a “pay it forward” mindset.

  • Don’t use posts to solely promote your business. Instead, fill out your profile completely and offer genuine, useful advice in conversations. Members will naturally check your profile and contact you if they’re interested.
  • Be helpful first. When someone asks about services, it’s great to suggest your own—but please include other options too. Don’t just reply with “Send us a message.”
  • Support the community. The more you give, the more value you bring—and the more trust and visibility you’ll earn.
  • Want to advertise directly? If you’d like to promote your business, we offer ad placements and sponsored post options. Please contact us to learn more.

By helping others, you help your business grow—naturally and respectfully.
