Train travel in Japan for limited mobility travelers
We just spent 1 month in Japan, riding trains and taking taxis. The train system is excellent, once you figure out how it works. My husband has a cane and can only walk about 300 meters without resting. Buy all tickets at the information/help office at any station. Online didn’t work for us -even after many attempts. Airbnb and accessibility experiences
Normally I have avoided rental properties on Airbnb because I always felt a bit safer knowing there are staff nearby etc or of there was a problem with the room I could possibly switch by asking at the front desk.
I’ve come across a situation where the Airbnb may be better and more accessible than a hotel in the area…
