I long for the day when cities worldwide design and improve infrastructure with all citizens in mind, not just those who are able-bodied.
How is the access in your city?

I find it really frustrating when accessible infrastructure is built but then is always out of service. Denver airport just installed accessible toilets outside the normal bathroom for easy access and they are either constantly in use by individuals who do not need them or locked so the cleaning staff doesn’t have to clean them. What a waste!

In London we have a scheme where my support worker can come in at a discount or for free depending on the production or venue. My support workers are sometimes allowed to travel for free (if we have a sympathetic bus driver😀of course)

We don’t have that here in the US and I don’t expect it to happen here because we’re still very ableist as a nation. And, right now, there are higher priorities, such as racists kidnapping people off the streets. (No, that is not an exaggeration.)
Here, it’s on an attraction-by-attraction basis. Some allow carers/caregivers to get free…

Japan has ones from municipality/city you live in.
An international version would be a great idea!
