I am here in Japan as we speak and I’m using a WHILL mobility scooter and travelled from Ginza to Shibuya on the Ginza line today. Both train staions are accessible which is great but when I lined up at the disabilty spot to board the train the step up from the platform was too tall for me to drive on. Before you go to the tracks, when you go through the ticket gate, you can ask staff for a ramp (but called a slope here) to get on and off the train.
