Hi there, I am a blind individual who is hoping to visit Japan this fall. I am curious if Japan treats sighted guides like Canada does. Here I can travel on planes, trains and buses as well as visit museums and certain attractions and my cited guide would be able to travel with me either for free or at a heavily reduced cost.
Hi! Great to hear you are planning on visiting Japan.
First of all, domestic flights do have discounts, but I’m pretty sure international flights don’t. (I went back to Canada a few weeks ago and had to pay full price for my care giver on Air Canada.) However I think if you are going on a domestic flight in Japan with a discount, you would…

Hello! I’m a wheelchair traveler going Tokyo for the first time.
Would you know of any Gyukatsu Motomura branches that do not require the use of staircases to be seated and eat? Thanks!
The one in Coredo looks accessible (never been, but from pictures). The shopping center is new, so there are accessible toilets etc as well.
