Last month, I returned from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, exploring the UAE as a power wheelchair user and who is ventilator-dependent. I use a Permobil F5 power wheelchair, and throughout most of the trip, accessibility exceeded expectations.

Quick question: what worked best for transportation?
Any must do’s in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that are also wheelchair accessible? We are three adults traveling together in December.

I went there 2 year ago. It is 100% made for us wheelchair users (well is was built flat on a desert)
We visited the Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world)
We had drinks at the top of the Burj Al Arab (worlds only 7* hotel))
The Dubai mall (they have an Olympic size ice rink which I went on)
Just outside the mall and Burj Khalifa is the man…
