Rome Cruise Terminal
Does anyone have experience with wheelchair cruise travel out of the Rome Cruise Terminal? In reviewing things online, it appears taxis are not able to bring you directly to your cruise ship and, instead, you must take a bus from the terminal to your ship. Hotels for hoist users P3
Hi everyone!
I just booked my flight to Japan in September for a 2-week stay — super excited! Now I’m working on accessible accommodation and could use some help.

Assistance boarding trains
Do I always need to have assistance when I get on a train ? I’ll be doing multiple transfers moving around Tokyo and Osaka with my family and can normally move on a train without problems.

Charging scooter battery
Hi everyone, my husband uses a Luggie Scooter to get around. The specs for the battery are in the screenshot below. Can anyone help me with knowing whether I need a voltage converter for the charging unit in Japan? I’ve read the Accessible Japan page but still not sure. Thank you
View more commentsHi, I had to check recently to see if my smart drive charger would work. I asked ChatGPT and it said:
There are two things that determine whether a charger works abroad:
1. Voltage compatibility
Japan uses 100V electricity.
Most modern mobility‑device chargers (including SmartDrive) are dual‑voltage, meaning they accept something like:
“Input:…
