Windsor Castle
My two Support Workers and I went to Windsor on Friday. None of us had been before, and we were thrilled when we entered the Castle and the man at the gate told us the King was in residence. (I, of course, said it was because we were there! 😊)
The closest we came to a royal sighting was a Policeman with a submachine gun standing outside, and…
Josh Grisdale and Geordie Travels3 CommentsThis is so cool! You’ve definitely come a lot closer to Royalty than I ever have. How amazing would it have been if you spotted HRH and he gave you a little wave 😀
Awesome! Glad to hear the staff were nice. Were most of the areas accessible? I vaguely remember going when I was 12… many years ago!

Lovely! The Ivy was always my go to restaurant for special occasions ❤️

The Old Station Concourse Windsor
We had never expected to see such a great use of space when the old station was decommissioned; they made it suitable for use (even for a wheelchair). You can see the entrance to the old station building through the wonderful double doors (under the Havana House sign)
I agree – great job reusing it and making it flat for all!

I understand a lot of handicapped bathrooms have…

Hello
I assume you mean the next new years and I’m not to late!
We have hotels listed on Accessible Japan but just a drop in the bucket… but it can be a good place to start. I may suggest getting a travel agent to help with booking hotels.
As for Disney, in general, the rule is that you must be able to evacuate by yourself in an emergency…
