• Has anyone been to any of these places in Japan with an electric wheelchair or scooter please? I need to find out what places I can’t manage. I’m going with 6 able bodied people and need to organise other options if I can’t go do what they are doing. Is a scooter easier over there than an electric wheelchair please? I’m not going til October 2026.

Thanks so much for any help

      Wendy 😀

      • I’ve been to most of the ones in Japan.

If you are looking for tours/transport at each place, definitely try out TokudAw Inc:

        • @joshgrisdale Thanks so much Josh. I am one of 7 people going but am the only disabled one. They are trying to find other options than the cruise ship tours as they are so expensive. I am trying to find out which places I can do regular tours with. I have a brain issue so can’t really go by myself and I can’t expect one of them to go with me. I get things eg numbers twisted around the wrong way when I’m stressed. I use a walker at home but need an electric scooter or electric wheelchair while I’m away. Have you been unable to go anywhere because of that please?

          • @Wendy The biggest challenges with the cruise ports is that sometimes they are far from public transportation, so you would likely need a private tour in those cases. Unfortunately, they will likely be the same price range as the official ship tours, or more as they would be private. You can always ask them for quote though.

        • Thanks Josh
