Hello! I will be travelling from Australia to Tokyo with my husband at the end of October.
In Australia we have the Sunflower logo for people with hidden disabilities. I have Fibromyalgia, Diabetes and Arthritis so I am a little slower with my sightseeing and do require frequent downtime to rest.
I read about the HELP MARK symbol in Japan and the identifying tags that are available.
I would like to know if I can obtain one whilst visiting Tokyo and do I need to bring a letter from my doctor to obtain one?
We are staying at the Keio Plaza Hotel and I read that they are available from;
- Welfare Center for Persons with Mental and Physical Disabilities (Shinjuku)
which is very close to our hotel.
Any advice on obtaining a Help Mark Tag would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Linda

To obtain the helpmark card does not require any medical documents. You could get it at the station offices of Toei Transport

Thank you. I will have to see how far their offices are from Shinjuku.

O-edo Line Stations E01 Shinjuku or E28 Tochomae are probably the closest from Keio Plaza Hotel. https://www.kotsu.metro.tokyo.jp/eng/services/pdf/rosen_e.pdf
