Christmas and Holiday gifts for the disabled traveler
Hello everyone,
It’s been a late in the shopping season, but I figured I’d create a running thread for various items that can be useful for the disabled traveler. Obviously some of these items won’t help travelers with every type of disability, but hopefully this will be of use to someone out there. For me personally, I like to travel as compactly as possible, since it’s more difficult for me to manage a lot of luggage. I’ll start off with this item I discovered recently, which is useful for bringing luggage or wheelchairs into hotel rooms more easily. It’s called the Fat Ivan doorstopper. It’s available on Amazon, but I haven’t figured out how to add links here yet. From the picture I attached, you can see how it would be useful for someone who doesn’t want to stoop down to place or retrieve a doorstopper.
