Instead of shady Airbnb locations that say they are accessible, Accommable offers a similar service but for accessible housing. They can guarantee that all the locations are fully accessible. Right now they cover 60 countries and have over 1000 properties!

Looks like accommable have gone and joined Airbnb now!!
I wish hotels would get moving on getting hoists in. I noticed this the other day https://www.innovacareconcepts.com/en/products/patient-handling/integralift-hidden-hoist/ – why don’t hotels start using something like this if they are worried that accessible rooms with hoists won’t be able to be used by others??? Is there any legislation about hoists in hotels? if not, there should be….

Wow, that is such a fantastic idea! That could totally fit in with the decor of a hotel and those who don’t need it wouldn’t even know!
I wish all disability-related equipment considered fashion and design…
