Hi Everyone! I’m Mary and was Dx with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy when I was 64. I am 70 now. My husband and used to travel a lot, but it has gotten harder due to continuous muscle atrophy. Our last trip was a river cruise on the Danube. Additional trips were planned until I fell and shattered my hip. Our hope is that I will be mobile again…

Hello, I am Karen from New Zealand. I have low vision (can only see about a 50 cent coin wide). I love to travel and have been to many countries in the world for work (before my vision deteriorated) and leisure (in recent years).
Hope to get some pointers on how to travel smartly and safely with visual impairment through this group.

Hi all!
I’m 40 from Sheffield, disabled due to a stroke. I have several health issues now including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, anxiety, migraine and headaches, short term memory issues and goodness knows what else ..
I love to travel, go to gigs etc. I’m hoping to go to Uni this year or next to study journalism
