    Bringing a guide dog or service dog to Japan

    Unfortunately, there are many rules surrounding bringing guide dogs and service dogs to Japan.  You must actually apply to get a “Temporary Certificate for foreign Assistance Dog Users” from a certifying organization.

    It is unfortunate there are extra hurdles, but it is nice to see the government has at least provided materials in English!
