Renting Hoist and other equipment in Japan
Hello,
Me again, trying to organize a trip for one of my friend in Japan. She requires several specialized equipment that she will not bring from France where she lives.
Any idea of where we can rent a hoist and a shower chair in Tokyo and Kyoto ?
Do hotel generally accept to receive the equipement on behalf of their customers ?

Very likely the hotel will have a shower chair already. But sometimes it might not be suitable – so I would suggest emailing them and ask for a picture.
Some hotels are fine with receiving the equipment, but budget hotels generally do not want to do it because they have no room to store the equipment. Additionally, the rental companies only accept cash, so your friend will need to meet them at least once for delivery or pickup.
