Accessible trains in Taiwan

    Hello,

Are the trains in Taiwan accessible to wheelchair users?

In Japan, when we ride the train in a wheelchair, we tell the staff where we want to go and then they put a ramp down to help us get on the train.  Is it similar?

    Thanks!

    Hi

    Taiwan’s TRA same as Japan.

You have to tell the staff where you want to go and then they put a ramp down to help you get on the train.

But if you take the MRT or HSR, you don’t do that.

MRT and HSR are accessible to wheelchair users.

That’s good to know. I’ve been looking for flights to Taiwan for December. Looking forward to my trip there.
