Thanks for this great detail answer. Tried the bus at the Kyoto station and it was crazy long. Tried hailing a taxi was not successful either.
So I tried getting a wc taxi at the taxi stand at Kyoto station. It was a frustrating experience…the taxi staff was not helpful. Waited at the Taxi #2 Friendly Cab area was useless as well.
What is the best way to order a wc taxi? The Taxi GO app requires a Japan # to sign up.
What is the etiquette or rule for boarding a bus in Kyoto? Wait in line? Or wait near the front so the driver board the wheelchair first?
