My friend and I are wanting to travel to Japan at some point, but funds are running a little tight. Can anyone name the best travel company with the best prices where your money stretches the furthest and that will work with someone in wheelchair? I don’t know but have been told don’t go on the tours that are supplied by cruises etc as they are extremely expensive. I’m flying to Tokyo then going to multiple ports by cruise. All the others are able bodied so it’s really worrying me.

I visited Potter Park zoo in East Lansing, Michigan this last May. I found the park to be extremely accessible, the with the little bit of tweaking needed. I recommend going on the otter experience. My group and I got to go behind the scenes and feed the animals and speak to the keepers who were very knowledgeable and very accommodating and…

2 Weeks in Japan: When should I go?
I’m going for about the same amount of time with my best friend. I am also in an electric wheelchair, we’re planning for late March / early April because the weather is more moderate according to my research and there’s also no storm season going on. The cherry blossoms are a big attractor as well.
