Yeah, I used this a couple of times in Shinjuku and Ebisu.
When stations are under construction or restructuring it could be the only way to reach the platform.

Omg! I wish I could have used on one of these gadgets before I left Tokyo. I was so unlucky that I had problems with the elevators on the subways 2 times during my 6-day visit to Tokyo. Yeah the toilets are amazing and they’re everywhere. Even if a place doesn’t have a separate room for handicapped toilet, they have retrofitted one urinal and one cubicle with grab bars and stuff.- View 2 replies
