Leaving a scooter outside a restaurant or shop in Japan.
Hi Everyone,
my name is Oliver and I have cerebral palsy.
So I’m going to Japan in late November to early December for about two weeks and am super excited. I will most likely bring a scooter called DashMoto 3. I can walk, but I can’t do it for long periods of time and I will be going with a group of friends as well.

Good question. Following as I’d like to know if it is okay to secure the scooter with a bike lock at front too. I suspect it will depend on space in front of the restaurant etc. keen to know what others have experienced

Would love to know as well. I posted a similar question in a FB group since I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user. Folks said it is ok and safe to leave it outside (I think the challenge would be if the sidewalk is narrow)
