Hello everyone,
is there anyone who has taken a mobility aid, example -a scooter (which is powered by lithium battery)on a plane?
7 CommentsView more commentsI have batteries on my wheelchair. I don’t know if there are lithium, the important thing you have to do is to call the air company and give them all the specific to the competent department and the IATA certification etc etc, so they can register your aid.
I have done this 4-5x from SG to Indonesia & Australia. Just need to remove the lithium batteries & hand carry onto the flight. Also show them the batteries specs sheet. No issue at all for me 🙂
Just allow more time during check in for assistance.

Thank you Mark. Should we be booking these trains in advance? Do you use google maps for train travel or is there a better way to find accessible train lines?
