Hello, I just wanted to chime in that I caught Norovirus in Japan. I was in Tokyo from the 16th to the 28th of April. I only learned now that it was Norovirus and luckily didn’t infect my assiatant. I don’t know where I exactly I caught it, but I was mostly around Asakusa and suspect it was from one of the Sushi places.

JR Trains or public transit to Mt Fuji
What the nearest city that has a JR Station where I can see Mt Fuji close up? View of the Fuji and a nice lake would be awesome.

Hello! I am a wheelchair user from Ireland looking to travel to Japan in July for a week by myself as a solo trip. What advice would anyone give me in regards to best hotels in Shinjuku, accessibility etc so I can plan!
View more commentsHi, Brady. We used Hilton in Shinjuku. Room was quite nice and it, and the hotel more generally, was quite wheelchair accessible. The location was good as well. The one downside is that it was spendy.
Do you have any specific needs or budget?
There are some hotels listed on my website, Accessible Japan, you can use that to get started and then ask any questions you have here on tabifolk!
