Japan Rail Pass
We are a family of 2 adults and one child. One adult in manual wheelchair.
We are coming to Tokyo and Osaka in March/April for 2 weeks(one week at each location).
We are researching the options of getting around Tokyo and Osaka and also travelling from Tokyo to Osaka and return.

For the JR Central (Tokaido Shinkansen), the pass is available for purchase online only.
After you purchase the pass, you can start reserving trains from 1 month before your travel date.
Also, it’s better to confirm which Shinkansen you will ride first with JR Central, and then make the reservation accordingly.
