What is the best way to sightsee in the following Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima? Is there accessible tours or can we do it on our own?

It is definitely possible to do on your own. I have been doing that since 2000! That being said it can be a lot more work as you need to research places etc. We have a fair bit on Accessible Japan to get you started and you are more than welcome to ask specific questions here too!
