Connecting with Accessible Travel Experts

One of main focuses of TabiFolk is to create community.

Community helps us find our place in the world.  It encourages us to take a new challenge.  It provides a shoulder to cry on, or a listening ear when we have had a bad experience.  It makes us laugh and gives us the power to tackle each new day.  By creating a community of travelers with special needs, we are better able to explore our world.

Community also helps us at TabiFolk reach our goal to put people in touch with the information they need to start on their first, or next adventure.

I was reminded of this again today when looking around the net and stumbling across Wheelie Campers.  Wheelie Campers has some exciting initiatives to help travelers with disabilities.  There are many fun accessible activities, from feeding wild dolphins to taking a skywalk above a rainforest, but perhaps the most unique service is their accessible camper van rentals.  What a great way to explore an exciting country at your own pace.  Definitely check them out!

But, the thing that hit me is that experts and leaders like Wheelie Campers are essential to TabiFolk.  We love having providers, influencers and travel agents join our community.  They can provide the essential expertise that helps so many of our users (myself included!) start out on their next trip.
