Accessible Safaris in Africa
Accessible Safaris in Africa
Never thought this was possible, but found it recently so I thought it would be good to share.
A place called Victoria Safaris offers accessible safaris in Kenya! They can help book people into hotels with accessible rooms, provide nursing staff, and have an accessible vehicle.
Pretty cool!
That’s really cool! I have read also about this: http://www.access2africasafaris.com/
They do accessible safaris, for people with various types of disabilities.
It’s nice to see that the world is becoming more accessible day by day!
I will add that to my bucket list! Thanks for sharing!
I went on a safari in South Africa few years ago with http://epic-enabled.com/ It’s a family business, Alfie is doing the tour with a helper and Sabine is doing the office work. They are really dedicated and will do all that is humanly possible to answer your needs. That was one of my best trip.
Thank you for adding the pictures! It makes it so much easier to imagine what it will be like! Please keep sharing 🙂
Hi guys! A wonderful blog by Sandra Williams about her accessible safari in South Africa.

Awesome, thanks!
There’s an organization called Wilderness Inquiry located in Minnesota, USA that offers inclusive trips throughout the USA and international trips as well.
I’ve gone on many trips with them the last 30 years and felt each one was a highlight of my life.
Last year I went on a safari in Tanzania and in July will be going to Uganda.
They are worth contacting, trips are inclusive, adventurous, life affirming and just immensely fun.
This is amazing indeed! as part of a licensing criteria for tour operators in Rwanda, provisions and proper consideration of persons with physical disabilities in considered.
Good to know Kenya has a safari. That is my dream country in Africa to visit.
