    Hello,

A long time ago I was in Toronto and had good and bad experiences with transportation in a power wheelchair.

I found the buses were pretty accessible and easy to use, but the subway was not very great.  Not many stations where accessible and no one helped me get over the gap.  I asked what I should do if I get to my destination and the gap is too big and they told me I may need to go to the next station and return on a different part of the train.  I was a little bit unimpressed.

This was 2006, so, I hope things are better now!  I see on the website they have priority seating, but cannot seem to find about getting on and off the train….

Does anyone have experience with this?  Is it better to use the bus?

    Thanks in advance
