MemberWheelchair train travel from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station with luggage?
I use a power WC and have taken the Narita Express train (NEX) directly to/from Tokyo Station.
Last fall, we tried a different train line called Keisei to Ueno. We found the Keisei was a bit faster and less crowded than NEX.
TakAnyone has experience flying from the United States to Japan on JAL or ANA airline?
Want to know what been your experience flying with a power/electric wheelchair.
Can check your WC at the gate and have it delivered to the gate upon arrival?
My experience has been with United Airlines and gate check/delivery is the norm.
I want to try JAL or ANA…
Thanks for these info and tips. This morning I requested hotel staff at Ala Hotel to call a wc taxi…staff informed me that he called several taxi companies and all didn’t have an ETA to give me a ride.
Regarding wc, all the locals I’ve seen using a wc all have very light and narrow wc. The ones with power wc appears to be a modified manual…
