  • Off to Karuizawa!

    Trying out the accessible Green Car (first class). Nice accessible toilet and the space next to the seat is big enough for my power wheelchair.

    • By chance were you travelling with luggage? If so, where did you put it? I can’t seem to find a wheelchair seat that also allows oversized luggage space. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    • @Data unfortunately luggage is a huge issue for any seat. There is overhead storage but it is a bit limited – the Shinkansen design was only taking business travellers and locals on short trips into mind and not a lot of space was created for traveling with large suitcases.
