Osaka is so popular and such a big city. We weren’t with our son so we weren’t looking for accessibility and we were still overwhelmed. We even lost out camper van not being able to find our parking lot for awhile :). We could have used a good map with locations of great bathrooms and good restaurants.

Arizona State Parks Terrain Hopper

I have never heard of a Terrain Hopper, but now I want one! (or at least to try one!)

Anyone rethinking a big trip this year?
Saw some travel numbers this week that surprised me. Germany’s domestic travel up 60%+, and one of Europe’s biggest tour operators has 75% of its summer bookings inside Europe, mostly because of fuel costs and Gulf tensions.

This is something which has massively impacted Jennae from Access2Africa Safaris. She has had a number of cancellations recently, and no amount of explaining to potential guests that South Africa is far from any genuine danger seems to work to ease their concerns.

A wheelchair just flew inside an airplane cabin for the first time
Airbus tested their Airspace U Suite wheelchair securement system on an actual flight last month – an A350 test aircraft. An Airbus employee who uses a power chair rolled onboard and sat in his own wheelchair during the flight. It’s the first time that’s ever happened.

for Universal, I would recommend adding some time for the shuttles since I had to wait 20-30 min each time so it’s not too easy to bounce back and forth.

I went there in high school for a graduation trip with my parents and very likely annoyed my parents by wanting to visit places and venues mentioned in the songs of West Coast punk and ska bands… this inspires me to go back and do more grown up sight seeing 😛
