Hi, my wife and I are planning a trip to Japan next year. During the trip, my wife was hoping to meet a friend who is disabled and mostly wheelchair-bound. Her friend lives in China, and currently the only way they can apply for a Japanese visa is through an approved travel agency in China.
The problem is that some of these agencies are asking…

For everyone traveling in Japan this summer, were you surprised by the heat?
Do you have any tips for others who might visit Japan in the summer?
My advice : don’t if you can avoid.

Just got back today. It was hot, hot, hot! And the humidity! Wet face washer on back of neck, and an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun. We noticed most outside workers have light jackets with built in fans, and light, loose layers. Always have a bottle of water with you, and 7/11 is your friend.

Do you have something similar in Korean? If you do, you can try making a translation of it (using AI etc) and show that. Unfortunately, there is never a guarantee it will work as it can depend on each facility and even the staff working. So, best you can do is try.
Which Island are you visiting in Okinawa?

It seems that that a document that can be read it’s sufficient. My disability card has the information written in English to. In addition I will take a translation with me. I thought to go to the Konsulat with it for them to put a stamp on it but someone here wrote that e.g. the expo accepts it without translation.

Hello everyone
Does anyone knows if there’s a way to book tickets in advance for the Hirosima Peace Museum Boat Tour?
Their site doesn’t let me do the booking and their telephone service is only in Japanese with a recorded message which I can’t understand.
You can buy the ticket here
Information from the museum

Thank you Vinicius
I went through the options but the one with the boat ride is not wheelchair accessible.
