Mont Saint-Michel in a wheelchair

    Hello,

I have a calendar on my wall with tourist spots and this month it is Mont Saint-Michel.

I assume it is a “no” but I may as well ask.  Is Mont Saint-Michel accessible to wheelchair users?  Even if it was possible to see part of it would be great…

    Thanks

When we were there, my husband was still able to walk a short way with a cane. He remembers a few steps here and there near the entrance. If you are able to walk a tiny bit (like a step here or there), you would be able to see a small part of it (from the entry through a little ways up the street — and yes, there is only one street :)). Most of it is inaccessible though 🙁

I’ll be heading to Mont Saint Michel soon and will keep you posted about the accessibility, @AzaleeBoy.
