Huh – from my alma mater!
Could be great for those with spinal cord injuries or MS etc, but I’d be afraid of injuring myself or others when I have a (robotically enhanced!) muscle spasm 😝

Very true. I’ve only had a bus driver tie my wheelchair down once, but it was in a mountainous area – and was glad he did!

Here are some photos of the AVAs operating in Oslo Norway in 2019.
It is in a tourist bus loading area so it’s not as dangerous as it looks. Everything moves at about 15 miles per hour. I don’t remember if they had automatic ramps or not. I suspect (but don’t tell the Health and Safety guy) that at 15 m/h or 25 k/h tying a power chair down may…
